The problem here was that, although the rear patio of the Cohasset home afforded wonderful privacy, no protection from insects existed.

We began construction by using 40 year rated and treated frame lumber and a continuous carrying beam supported by poured-in-place concrete sono tubes that were tied to the existing ledge.

We then designed screened panel walls built for ease for future maintenance.

We then installed skirting under the deck to discourage any small intruders. Our additional features included skylights, an open cathedral ceiling, and exposed beams. With the porch complete, out clients can enjoy the great privacy that the conservation land abutting their property has brought them.
